» Important things I should not forget as a student

1. Learning Materials:

At DALC, students do not need to write notes. These are available in computer accessible media. The package includes:
• Course module notes
• Range of dated assignments
• Reference texts
• Syllabus and time-managed schemes of work
• Host of past papers with marking schemes

2. Talking Computer Lecturers (TLCs):

These are computer-based lecturer sessions from reputable International lecturers, which provide captivation, review and retention needed to ensure top performance in an exam. The computer can repeat for you, at your pace, even a million times without getting tired!

3. Accommodation

There are hostel facilities to students who may need the same.
This is specifically necessary for students who need “on-campus” learning but may be hindered by geographical distance.

4. Counseling and on-going Career Assessment and Advice:

As the course progresses, there will be always a need for “review of course progress and fine-tuning” of your career selection. We also have professional counselors who will advise students (especially young ones) on how to cope with social, academic or other needs.

5. Industrial Attachments and Talent Exhibitions:

All courses at DALC require a transfer from “Skill Acquisition” to “Skill Application”.

This is achieved through real-world industrial attachments (projects). The students then publicly exhibit their projects during our “Oral Presentations Day”.

6. Lecturers:

Highly qualified Lecturers deliver all our courses. Lecturers at Diploma or higher career awards must posses Masters Degrees or Phds.
